Why did you become an attorney?

I became an attorney because I was impressed with the professionalism of my parents' family attorney and because I figured that all disputes are eventually resolved according to the law. Knowing the law and actively practicing it would allow me to be prepared for any such event . I also always wanted to help those less fortunate or less knowledgeable to understand their legal rights and how best to protect themselves in a legal situation.

What experiences (work and personal) help you to be a better attorney?

I believe my experience as an assistant prosecutor, magistrate, acting Judge and practicing attorney give me a unique ability to know how all sides of a case are viewed and can share that with clients who are in need.

Describe your ideal client.

My ideal client would be one who understands their legal situation and is willing to listen to professional advice and work with their attorney toward a fair resolution. Domestic cases usually have an emotional component which can make this difficult. That is precisely why good and experienced representation is vital.

Describe your personal interest and hobbies.

Personal interests are my children and their activities. I am interested in current events, politics, and most things involving sports. Anything humorous is interesting to me.
Hobbies: golf, bowling, and fitness. Spending time with friends and family.

Describe your charitable activities.

I was the president of the local chapter of Big Bothers/Big Sisters for 6 years in the 90’s and still remain in contact with them.
