Donald C. Moore, Jr.
YEARS OF PRACTICE:34 years
My personal experiences have had a great deal to do with my success as a lawyer. I worked in a factory and a warehouse when I was in high school. Part of the warehouse work involved making deliveries with commercial trucks. I worked my way through college and law school as an insurance adjuster. I handle product liability claims, medical malpractice claims, truck accidents and many other types of cases, involving serious injuries and death. I have also owned and operated a small farm for almost 30 years. I've been personally involved in construction projects and have a working knowledge of several trades. I love variety and have enjoyed exposure to a broad range of occupational skills, all of which help me serve my clients. Obviously, being married for more than 37 years and having raised three children enhances my ability to understand the precious value we place on members of our family, especially when one of them has been injured.
In my practice, all that I do is represent people who've been seriously injured or killed, as the result of someone else's negligence. It is extremely gratifying when I can make a real difference in a deserving person's life or for their family. Over my 30 years of practice I have had the privilege of assisting many people recover from tragedy. We have films, photos and Christmas cards from many clients whose lives would be significantly different had we not been able to help them. I get to help people who really need it, when they need it most and hold the guilty accountable. What a great way to make a living!
At our law firm, we handle a select few cases and we use a team approach. The client’s case gets maximum attention and we devote the financial resources necessary to get the best possible recovery. We commonly use animations, medical illustrations, videographers, professional producers, doctors, engineers, biomechanical specialists and any other professional that will help tell the client story in the best manner possible. We really try to do the very best for each client.
My wife and I live on a small farm. We enjoy working together on the farm. We raise cattle and grow hay. I enjoy golfing and have worked out all my life. Occasionally, I'll take our sports car to a road racing track, for a day of fun. I really enjoy traveling to new places, especially foreign countries. I am very active in my church, teach bible classes and have done missionary work in Romania and Panama.
